The new found friends' casual encounter comes to a screeching halt when they enter the Anne Frank museum. The deafening walls speak to the horror, provoking the spirited, self-empowered, wise and inexperienced.
As our brave kids sneak through the dark streets of Amsterdam, they stumble on a purer form of existence. These engaged, funny and deeply rooted co-eds prove that peace can indeed be achieved through acts of kindness and love, not fear or force.

THE FAITHFUL NIGHT

Dam Square, festival like atmosphere, bright whimsical maybe almost fun. Becca and Jeremy set out on a secret trip leaving an elite Colorado peace counselor training program. Chris the Kiwi comedian of the group kills time on his way to California for UNI, James the soulful drummer is stuck trying to get home to Uganda from a study tour in DC, young Max the Chinese opera protégé ditches his delegation, Julie captures it all through her lens.

The Anne Frank Huis tour stops them in their tracks. The deafening walls speak to the horror. History warns.

The Kids leave a solemn experience. James notices another. Klark's self-destructive mission shadows the group — and the group notices. The waitress is not what she seems. Julie peers around corners with her camera. Max trails the grown-up kids.

Our young friends sneak through the streets of Amsterdam, stumbling on a purer form of existence — proving peace prevails through compassion and kindness, versus fear or force.
“There can be no keener revelation of a society’s soul than the way in which it treats its children.”
